Deskripsyon

On Luana Ave and Southfield Rd there is a sign posted, turn right only. Too many people are waiting and proceeding to go straight though onto Southfield to the turn around in front of the City Hall building. Is it possible to have this more patrolled by the Allen Park Police department? Too many time is this road used as cut through between Southfield and Allen Road and these people have no respect for our area or children and will speed down this road.

We will attempt to have extra police patrols in the area for traffic that uses it as a "cut-through". As for the "Right Turn Only" sign: That sign needs to be re-evaluated. Since the reconstruction of Southfield Road, the cross-over was moved further down. It may no longer be necessary to have the "Right Turn Only" sign posted and it may need to be removed. If there is a specific time of day where the traffic is especially bad, please call our front desk at 313-386-7800, option 7 so that the Shift Commander can direct a car to the area.
