Dead animals on County roads are handled by MC Police's Animal Control division. I looked for an email address to forward this report but could not locate one on MCPD's website. They did list the following telephone number to call, however, to report the dead animal. MCPD should send out a crew to remove it.
"Animal Control, Humane Society and Animal Shelter - (240) 773-5960
(For pet complaints, lost and found reports, licenses, to report dead animals on roads, low-cost spay/neuter program, etc.)"
I believe County residents can also call 311 to report such issues, and they will forward to MCPD.
