Earlier tonight a plow was tailgating our car, and then ignored our blinker (specifically turned on ahead because of how close he was), so when we slowed down to turn in our driveway he rearended us. Fortunately the collision was slow enough that there was no damage and the resulting fishtail didn't hit anything else. Unacceptably, the driver did not stop to check these things. If damage had occurred (which the driver could not know without checking) we would have no record of which driver to file the claim with due to the hit and run.
