Someone from this Subdivision will need to write a petition and get a majority of the neighbors in the subdivision to sign.it to submit to the city.

Until someone takes this reins of this, nothing will happen.

I do not agree Mark Barnett. A petition from our subdivision is not needed. A three way stop sign is needed. Safety should not need a petition.

I am saying that because that is what the City has stated is needed to be done.

It would take a person probably 2 weekends to knock on the approximating 125 doors and get the petition signed. If you get 2 or 3, you could probably get the signatures done in a weekend.

I understand what you are saying. No disrespect to you. What I am saying is the city should not need a petition to install a 3 way stop to ensure the safety of ALL people who use Old Atlanta Road. Not just our subdivision. Cars on Old Atlanta top the hill traveling well over 45 mph. Instead of the cops sitting in the parking lot of the new seafood restaurant chatting night after night, they could be issuing citations.

I have to agree with Twisted. It is a matter of safety for every one that travels that road. No one is going to collect signatures for an at large issue. Mark do you have a dog in this fight? If no, once again ,no disrespect, leave the fight to the locals. No one form the City has gotten on here and formally said what you are purporting they have. And yes I agree HCPD needs to be more visible in the neighborhoods and not spending time in the Methodist Church lot, yes the old Ryans lot, The roller skating lot. Did I miss any?
