Description

This property is owned by the Renton School District. It is my understanding they're planning to sell this property to a developer.
These woods are home to all sorts of wildlife, there are several Pileated Woodpeckers in there, Owls, Deer, Mountain Beavers and many others.
I believe there is a large wetland area in there.
Many of the neighbors walk in there and it is a great place to get some peace and enjoy the nature. These woods need to be preserved for us and future generations. It is one last piece of nature in this more and more densely populated area. I am asking that the City of Renton purchase this property under their Parks, Recreation and Natural Preservation Program.
