This is outrageous. The news needs to film all this crap. Oakland really thinks these people want housing, if they do they need to get their head out of the sand. These people are drug addicted and need mental help, which isn't going to happen, but u can start enforcing the laws, give them community service and years of tough love. This is out of control.

Of coarse you have open service requests when PWD and the City have failed at fixing this ongoing heath and safety hazard. These hazardous encampents are now all over the city.

City of Oakland Public Works Department addressed this issue on 01/27/2016, service request # 624985.
