The signal at Pontiac Lake Road and Watkins Lake Road was not warranted based on traffic generated by the Summit Place Mall. It was there long before the road from the Summit Place Mall was constructed and connected to Pontiac Lake Road at County Center Drive East. It was installed based on the skewed geometry and the traffic volumes at the intersection when the original study was conducted. It's still warranted today.
