A private contractor has been hired by the property owner to perform a structural repair of the open coal chute which the metal plate currently covers. Subsequent to the repair by the private contractor. The DPW crew will temporarily patch the area with bituminous concrete (hottop). In the spring of 2016, repairs to cement concrete sidewalk will be made as well as full width repaving of the roadway.

The repairs have been made and the metal plate has been removed.
