RPR...where does it state that the comments are supposed to be helpful? They cant be humorous or critical or anything else just positive and helpfull huh? I did not read that in the rules and must have missed that in the constitution where they outlined free speech? I think it was very helpful that Bertie let her cat out to help find the bird. I will look for it as well but you need to chilllllll out a little on your obey the rules stance there mein furher.
Anna,
When you add a comment, before typing any text there's a message that says the comments should be constructive and not hurtful or words to that effect. This is a forum for quality of life issues run by seeclickfix and as such has no constitutional mandate to allow free speech. A comment I had placed on this forum a few months back was removed by the moderator because it was considered not helpful. If I were the one looking for my cockatiel I would not find that comment funny at all.
I really hope you find her. Just an FYI, I was outside the other night and thought I heard your bird. I have 3 cockatiels of my own, and I thought one of mine got out. I am in the area of the Blue Route in Nether Providence, if that helps. Also, post it on www.birdhotline.com.
Don't give up! I lost my 'tiel 15 years ago, and someone found him and called me. In fact, the DT did a story on me. Please keep looking and post some fliers, too!
Here's another web site that's featured on DT's front page, they only mention dogs but I'm sure it's for all pets, they have a free service that matches lost pets and the people who found them. Also, when I was a child we had parakeets. Sometimes one would get out. We always got them back by leaving their cages outside in the back yard. Worth a try.

Try searching in the opposite direction. I lived in Broomall at the time (1995), and my cockatiel was found 2 days later at Springfield High School. I was searching in the opposite direction the whole time. Definitely leave the cage outside with plenty of food and water. I haven't heard the bird's whistle since that first time I told you. I really hope you are able to find her.
Snacks has been found!!!! Thanks to this posting a woman in Springfield named Sue found her on her lawn! Someone told her about this ad and she called me saying she found our bird! How amazing is that???? What were the chances of her coming home? God is good and Thanks for all the advice and kind words!
