This sign has been at this location for quite a while to warn of the sharp curve just west of Rainwater. Since the addition of the stop signs on Hunting Ridge at Rainwater stop vehicles heading westbound on Hunting Ridge this sign is no longer needed since vehicles will be entering the curve at a low speed. The city will have this sign removed.
The curve heading eastbound on Hunting Ridge Road east of the signs current location is not as sharp and can be navigated safely at the posted speed limit.
