Road has sunk about 6 " around a manhole in the Westbound lanes of Gervais St . This is hard to avoid if turning from Gervais onto Huger N bound or Westbound on Gervais St. This could do serious damage to wheel alignment and tires.

Either too much rain has caused it to pop out or poor materials were used or the person didn't take the proper time or knew what they were doing.
I was thinking more than wheel alignments and tires which are costly. What about if someone's car ends up with damaged rims or breaks CV joints or an axle or shock. Auto repair people have to change both sides of the cars joints, axles, and shocks. That's big money there, too! Lets hope it doesn't turn into a sink hole!
