I was told by DeKalb County that January 1, 2016 these road repair issues belong to the City of Chamblee

These potholes not only cause damage to car suspensions, but they can cause accidents as drivers swerve to avoid them.
Potholes get worse with time. They don't get better and they don't stay the same. Let's get on it, City of Chamblee and Dekalb County.

Clearly this is a jurisdictional problem, whether the road is federal, state, county or city owned and maintained. City of Chamblee can only fix something that belongs to them or when given legal authority by its owner, regardless of who's paying the bill. Clearly, all the welcome "re-development" was needed, but someone dropped the ball in REQUIRING developers to pay their fair share of the further "dangerous" destruction to our road infrastructure caused by all this re-development. Many of these "recurring" potholes aren't just potholes. They're evidence of a destroyed and rapidly declining roadbed that will only get worse from eminent rain damage. Expected sinkholes swallowing cars and causing injuries to drivers and passengers are clearly eminent... actually, already happening. Chamblee voices need to get LOUD with state, county and federal officials NOW. Ten years, the standard wait time for any life-threatening / life-saving government fix to occur, is toooooo long to wait for these urgent matters. Just saying... it's complicated... but mass loud unison citizen stakeholder voices CAN make a difference when singing in unison and pointed in the direction of the right purse-string holder who can actually make these life and death pothole-filling, roadbed reconstruction decisions.

The people who are responsible for fixing these road problems are "experts" in passing the responsibilities to others. They could make the calls to their counterparts in other jurisdictions about working together to solve these problems, instead of letting them continue for over two years.
