I agree. The trees are essential and are more attractive than the concrete jungle.

Is there a plan to replace the barrier? This is sad.

Some evergreens would look good there year round. So would some flowering trees. Maybe the arbor day foundation has some suggestions for beautifying the landscape there.

Hopefully nobody drives a car through that fence again. The fence isn't a guard rail. And the standing trees were the only thing that stopped the car that rolled down the hill from rolling into the trail below. Now it's a straight path to a drop off. Scary stuff!

Summer sure will be hot without the shade there, too.

So what is the plan to replace the wind, sound & exhaust buffer that provided clean air from the busy intersection use? The residents appreciated the buffer and many live here because of the benefits it provided. Now that the enjoyment has been removed for the local residents (likely because some people don't want to rake the walking trail) what is the remedy for those who relied upon the trees for cooling, noise control and fresh air?
