Description
My neighbor witnessed another incident at 710 Grand Ave. yesterday afternoon. A male, maybe staying there temporarily , maybe renting, not sure, was screaming and screaming to be let in. He got no answer so he decided to punch his fist through a plate glass window in the door. He left the area after my neighbor confronted him. The cops were called and they got the guy and brought him back to explain his actions. Whether he lives there or not, this is yet again another 'maybe' tenant of a Diana Nastri manged property that is bringing unsettling activities to the neighborhood. And there was a fairly serious 'domestic distrubance' call the police answered at this address about a week ago. My neighbor and I are going to talk to Diana about this. Between this and 686 Q-Ave we have an emerging pattern of not the greatest selection of tenants for our neighborhood. Carl Youngman who lives in the Boston area and is a pretty decent citizen by all accounts is the most active owner of the Dragon Place LLC properties, both 710 and 686 are owned by Dragon Place. His number is 617-428-0048. Place a call and let him know what's going on in our neighborhood if you want to make a difference in our quality of life. I did previously and to his credit he did call Diana immediately.

I have called the above number it does not work, call me Cecilia Proto 203 468 1472. I have noticed a LOT of drug activity in the back of 688 quinnipiac ave and the bottom line is that these undesirable tenants need to be evicted, period, don't bother the police bother the landlord, I need the correct number to address this problem directly to the landlord.
I want them evicted and the store closed, its just a front for illegal activity and hanging around. Believe me we do not live in Cape Cod, it look nice but in between our neighborhood is the ghetto, don't forget that and these housing projects don't care about nothing but money. Bella Vista is filled with crime and the police are there every dam day, its a senior complex, filled with drug dealers, mentally insane, domestic violence is rampant there. Do you blame the police for this, no the RENTAL OFFICE, call Bill Johnson for all the chaos over there.
You need to come together as a community, the police cannot do this alone, we need to get rid of these tenants, boycott the store and see how fast they trhow these loers out. As usual I cecilia proto proudly state my name because I believe in what I stand for and will do whatever it takes to save my neigborhood. we need a strong leader to get this blockwatch off the ground, it needs to be started immediately. cecilia proto 203 468 1472
quinnipiac
I am writing to inform u that i am a tenant here at 686 Quinnipiac ave. i am a single mother and have lived here for four years with no problems.I can agree and disagree on a few things that i am reading here. First off i was the first one excited to hear of a store coming supported it through but i agree now the store has become a problem in our neighborhood before it was wonderful and quiet now i go to leave and there is a party outside my door it is very aggravating but with a store also brings outsiders into our area! I see the police outside all the time but they arrest no one so maybe the people may look different but there the same as u and i cause the police have caught no one!!!Now Diana Nastri is my landlord and i have to say she does take action when needed and she does correct any problems that arise! Diana Nastri is very professional when it comes to her job!!! The attacks in our neighborhood thats been occurring i can speak from experience this past weekend i was walking toward bridge and i was snatched from behind and was sure i was going to be raped! i thank god everyday that there was people fishing on the bridge they saved my life!!! Now to the scooters definately big pain in the rear this needs to be brought up at city meetings and be banned in inner cities period intill then what can we do!!!the back parking i agree is ridicolous alot of traffic from the store and outsiders not from us tenants if i am walking to my laundry room i should be able to stop and speak with my neighbors and not worry about people who live down the street saying we r up to something!!! ridiculous!!!!u should get to know ur neighbors more before u write and slander peoples names!!! My neighbors are great neighbors and would do anything for my children!!!! pls remember we can not control the outsiders coming into our back area we kick them out when they are caught!!I definately agree maybe the store wasnt a great idea after all besides it has turn into a big pain in my rear since!!! Thanks

Quinnipiac Mom, thank you for posting here. It shows that you are concerned and care about our neighborhood. I live in the neighborhood and can vouch for your story. You've been a good neighbor since I've been in the neighborhood the last 7 years. It must be very challenging living in your building given the presence of a tenant who the police know as a major problem. I've spoken at length with Diana Nastri about the problem and there's going to be a Block Watch meeting after the 4th of July. Diana is looking to host the meeting at the catering room at Grand Bridge which is a wonderful gesture. I'll post here soon once we have a date which should be within the two weeks of July after the 4th. Thanks again for being part of the solution.

I am also a resident at 686 Quinnipiac ave. and i am written to inform you that i just had a newborn so you do not see me outside often but you do see my child's father coming and going and i would like to address this topic. THE PEOPLE OUTSIDE THE STORE HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS ADDRESS i myself am tired of this !!! the accusation that are being made ridiculous.! The store has become a problem but make sure you are pointing your accusation towards the right people just because we dress different and im never outside does not make me any different than any of you that also live in this neighborhood. I am going to be taking action on this matter and will be calling the cops when ever i do see somebody outside my door . remember i am a first time mom and cant be worrying about none sense.
