I love children, but this is a nice neighborhood and should not be made a hangout for teenagers. Milmont Pizza produces a delicious, reasonably priced product, but the hoards of students gathering every night are keeping me away. They block the business entrance, are rude, confrontational, and frankly a deterrent to business. I see parents drop their kids here nightly to gather with friends. Please host your children and their friends in your own home/yard. Be responsible! Be respectful!

I could not agree more. You have described their behavior exactly, rude and confrontational. This is an issue in the neighborhood from Milmont Ave. to Grace Park. If you walk along the wooded area behind Grace Park school you can see all of the empty cases of cheap beer left behind. Who is doing that? Kids! Not adults! They drink, carry on, fight, disturb residents walking their dogs, for their own enjoyment. When that gets boring, they vandalize property. The entire block had their cars keyed a few years back. Just a few months ago a young female was urinating in the middle of 7th Ave. It's disturbing, to see this every weekend, and it makes summer less enjoyable because this becomes a nightly occasion.

I have contacted the ridley principal and the cops and they are basically promoting underage drinking. The cops said the following, (very intelligent by the way, typical delco mind set.) "im not gonna chase dem kids around, they will just come back. What else are they gonna do" Well how about I get a bunch of friends and party, yell, and drink in front of your house every night while your kids are trying to sleep? The ridley principal said they cant do anything about it even though the kids are drinking on school grounds and trashing the dug outs and fields. Complete disgrace of a township

There needs to be more of a police presence in the neighborhood. The teens have begun to ruin a nice neighborhood. Just look at the amount of for sale signs on Park Lane, what is it 5, 6 houses for sale? Almost the same amount on 7th ave. Some people will blame the taxes, but the nuisance of the amount of kids and thier bad behavior is enough to make folks want to leave.

This morning i cleaned up a beer can, cheese fries container, and pizza plate from my front yard. They dumped an entire bad of natural light can in a bag down by the footbridge. Its the cops, principals, and parents that are dropping the ball. I dont care by the time my kids get old enough for grade school, im getting out of this ghetto. This part of delco is going to be like chester in about 5 years. Its already filled with white trash parents and their kids are following right in their footsteps. Real disgraces.

The big signs of the neighborhood turning into trash is all of the smoke shops opening on macdade. I mean seriously, what a joke. Also, delco is one of the only places in the tri-state areas that still allows smoking in bars. Ha, its like going back in time when you come to delco, its embarassing and the white trash people think its normal. Anyone that has lived outside of delco, its a shock that you can smoke in a bar still. How disgraceful

I agree with alot of what everyone is saying here, something needs to be done and its a shame for this great little community to have to go thru this but WE as a cherished community will take it back , contrary to what "nuts4delco" says - .... The nuts4delco person who is attacking this post , does so in a lot of others , I have reported them to the originators of the sight & suggest you do the same. ITs just someone who has nothing better to do than write negatively.

Thank You Kevin for your post ! I wish everyone was interested in helping as you are. I have made several see & click posts about different things in the neighborhood & this same person nuts4delco was in all of them. Which I agree with what you said about everyoen being able to speak freely - that is a definite- what is frustrating is that the person keeps taking it upon themselves to close the block and mark it as resolved . Is there any way to make it that the only person who can close it is either the person who opened it or admin as yourself. Again - thanks so much for creating this area for us to try and help our communites I think its a great thing

I moved to this area about 10 years ago from Drexel Hill and still work in Drexel Hill. I go to this Pizza Place all the time. Never once did I have any trouble with the teens and kids at Milmont Pizza. I have seen them open the door for patrons, even help some of the older customers take their orders to their cars.
In no way are these kids causing any problems. None. They are not loud, they are not disrespectful. They are just the opposite. I wish the kids near my work were this well behaved. I have seen drunk, belligerent adults there that cause issues but not the kids.
