I 've been calling in issues ever since I first started when I was in school in 1999 or 2000 when I was 12 or 13 years old starting just reporting street lights to our local power company Entergy and I'm now 28 years old and reporting everything in since Hurricane Katrina in 2005 when I was 18 years old because I was tired of things not getting repaired and tired of hearing complaints from people and frustrated because progress was not being made like damaged street signs potholes back up sewers I even had a power pole replaced in front of the apartment complex where I used to live when the pole was riotted out to where half of the pole sitting on cement at bottom ground side Howard. I was born and raised and still live in New Orleans La. Calling everything in over here from New Orleans.
I'm from born raised and live in New Orleans Louisiana. It started when I was little boy at between 12 13 years old I noticed this street light that something ain't right its not turned off during the day not too far where I used to live. I noticed it while on the bus on my way to school and back home this was back in 1999 2000 while in 7th or 8th grade. I say to myself why isn't turned off then I went online check to see who was in charge of the street lights in the city it show the power company called Entergy. Well I called Entergy number and reported the light I was saying to my self I hope they don't charge my parents on the power bill extra for repairing street lights because no one showed up to repair it. As time went on whenever I would go places with my parents I look around looking for broken lights get address and locations and kept on either calling or reporting them online until Katrina hit in 2005 Then after the storm nothing was getting fixed then I hit a point to report everything then people were coming out fixing everything and kept on reporting everything since then progress is being made since I calling or reporting online on everything. Entergy did say were apperciate him calling because we as city officals don't know whats happening unless customers call it in and I'm 28 years old and I don't like hear people complain and I know how people get frustrated that progress is not being made so been doing it ever since then. I like it and were paying taxes so it better be getting fixed our tax dollars are supposed to going towards that keeping the city in excellent shape.
