Thank you for taking the time to “Report an Issue” via Doing Things for you ! The issue has been forwarded to Pinellas County Public Works Traffic Management Division, so that they may investigate and take any necessary action.

Changes were being made yesterday morning based on some of the input we received. Monitoring the intersection this morning it looked like the intersection was running better. The standard operating system has been re-instated until some modifications to the new system can be made.

The biggest problem is when the green arrow signal for people making left turns is too short. Monday morning, it would be green for about 4 seconds, barely enough time for a few cars to get through, so most people have to sit through 3 or 4 light changes to make their left turn. I also noticed a long backup on WB Park Blvd, left turn lane, likely due to same problem. SB Seminole Blvd and WB Park Blvd have the busiest left turn lanes. The green arrow really needs to be 30 sec or better. Also I would like to suggest installing an overhead NO U-Turn sign for the Seminole SB L turn lane. I significant number of people make U-turns there that should not be allowed.
