New, "No Parking Here To Corner" signs will be installed. Illegally parked vehicles, such as to close to the corner and/or on the sidewalk are subject to ticketing and/or towing by the Police per City Ordinance even if there were no signs posted.

The police do not enforce, they have never written a ticket here even though people park constantly illegally and even leave vehicles in the no parking zone for hours or the entire day. It has created a hazardous situation on the corner. Actually, it should be a "no standing" sign because often people sit I their cars while they do their scratch tickets, or send a passenger in to buy tickets at Jeff's variety. I've been complaining about this for almost 3 years, I don't know why it is taking so long to see any action. There have been multiple accidents, including a car careening into my house causing $8,000 damage. Large vehicles are forced to make K turns backing up traffic through the lights on Eastern Ave. and cars can't even turn into the Hartz St. or get out onto Eastern Ave. as a result of the illegal parkers.
