Description

Regarding the stop light at the intersection of Edwards and Prospect, for cars coming to the end of Edwards, sometimes the light doesn't turn green for 10 minutes or more. The pattern starts by giving a green arrow to southbound Prospect traffic, then a green light for both directions on Prospect, then a green light for Edwards. If a pedestrian pushes the walk button while Prospect has the green light, the pattern starts over with Prospect and never lets Edwards go. If pedestrians push the button every couple of minutes, which they do at busy times, it's endless.

At one point today, I waited for 5 full minutes for the light. Then at 5pm, I waited for 10 minutes before finally taking an illegal right on red, when I had actually wanted to turn left. There was a huge line of cars stretching down Edwards and people were becoming hostile and starting to drive in the wrong lane.
