Description

There is at least 30 feet of graffiti on both sides of the walls/rails that encase the railroad the crosses 38th Avenue North. It has been there for more than a year. Because of it, the area looks like a ghetto. Why does the City remove graffiti everywhere else but ignores it there??

Update from Sanitation Department: the railroad bridge is the private property of CSX, and they will not allow us to cover the graffiti there. They cover it twice a year.

But what about the concrete sides of the overpass below next to the road....do they not let the City remove that graffiti either?

Also, I own property in St. Petersburg that is private property but the City covers that graffiti....what is the difference? Please advise. Thank you.

Update from Sanitation: the bridge is the property of CSX. If a property owner gives permission, the City can address graffiti on private property. CSX covers the graffiti at this reported location.
