Recently this project was expanded to address the crosswalks and sidewalk ramps at each signalized intersection. The crosswalks you mention will be replaced as part of this project. The work is on schedule which has a completion date of July 31, 2016

Is there a completion date for the sidewalks that are still missing from the traffic signals project. 9 to 10 months seems like along time to have a safety concern open.

The project completion date is for the entire project that has 61 intersections in it on 3 major corridors. The sidewalk replacement work will start in the next week ago on Western Avenue working east from the City line. The pavement marking work cannot start until the spring per contract regulations and DOT guidelines for material and workmanship warranty. In the end, it is our goal to complete the project and provide the safest possible roadways and sidewalks for the residents and commuters of this City. We appreciate your concerns and comments.
