A new campsite has started on the east side of the Lake Merritt Channel, at the edge of the woods closest to Lake Merritt Blvd. This area was cleaned of 25 bags of debris on Creek to Bay Day from earlier campers. This new camper is dumping garbage, TP and human waste. There's also a new tent under the bridge and another tent on the west side, reported here months ago.
