Description

Andes Construction is doing some work on 20th Street between Webster and Harrison, and has both travel lanes on southbound Webster Street before 20th coned off, forcing all of the car traffic to merge quickly into the bike lane. There is no signage warning drivers to yield to bikes, or signage warning bicyclists to expect drivers merging into the bike lane. Please follow up with Andes to ensure their traffic management for this and all other Oakland projects they work on is safe and appropriate.
