Three months have passed since I reported building code violations at 641 W. Grand. According to SCF report hasn't even been acknowledged by the City of Oakland yet. Please update this report with what the city is doing to remediate this situation. Thank you.

116 days and the windows of this building are still blown out.

601 days and no sign of any action from the city. Funny, you can get hung out to dry by the Building Department trying to fix up your house, but some investor lets their tenants live in a death trap, and nothing happens to them -no liens, no fines, no intimidation.

I just reported it AGAIN to Code Enforcement, Matt.
I'll call the Alameda County Assessor's office (510) 272-3787 and see if I can find out who the owner is.

It's getting shutdown by the city.
