Deskripsyon

At Old Atlanta Rd & Seaboard Drive, a three-way stop is very badly needed. Along with there being limited sight distance at that intersection, vehicles traveling on Old Atlanta Rd fly through that area - both leading to a very unsafe situation if you are trying to pull out of Seaboard onto Old Atlanta. Please make a thre-way stop at this intersection high on your agenda for improving public safety in our neighborhood!

I totally agree a 3 way stop is needed! Traffic coming from the Northwest along Old Atlanta is unable to be seen except for a very short distance due to the hill. Traffic uses Old Atlanta as a cut thru due to heavy traffic on I-75 and they do not observe the speed limit. They fly over the hill and are on you before you can react!

Also, No Cut Thru signs need to be posted Very Visable to deter traffic from using Northbridge Station as a cut thru because they do not observe the 25 mph speed limit nor do the stop at the stop signs. Since speed breakers haven't been addressed for the past 10 or so years, maybe the city can install the flashing speed limit signs that warn drivers when they exceed the speed limit!

Barry, I am looking into the county for speed bumps (http://www.co.henry.ga.us/HCDOT/docs/SpeedHumpOrdinance.pdf). There are too many kids playing in the streets for all the speeding traffic. It is an accident waiting to happen...

Thank you City Manager Exec Assistant for reviewing our request and forwarding it to the appropriate supervisor. Those of us using this intersection will appreciate Public Works attending to our safety needs and installing a three-way stop at this very dangerous intersection.

Today the traffic is backed up going south on old Atlanta Road toward the stop sign at Flippen Road. Cars are seeing the back up and flying into Seaboard and the signs are posted no cut thru and the speed limit is 25MPH. We need the three way stop to protect our homes, family, pets and visitors.
