We are preparing to let a contract to repair/ finish the streets in Fox Ridge. The City has been collecting fees as each new home is permitted for construction in order to fund the repairs.
I do not understand what you mean when you say "to let a contract".
Also, it is confusing when you say that you are collecting fees from the new contract at homes to pay for the street. Does that mean the street is going to get done in the near future, or that you have to collect more fees from homes and it will be a much longer time? We were told that it was going to be done last summer, then we were told again that it would be done this summer, and it is not been done. I was just looking for a little more definition of the timeline.
The City will be hiring a contractor to do the work. The original developer abandoned the project and the City was left without the funds to complete the streets. We have not had the money to finish them until now.
