This item should be marked as ACKNOWLEDGED not CLOSED until it is FIXED. Have a look at how the other towns on SeeClickFix do it. You are routinely closing issues that then never get addressed.

Agreed. Closed means closed. Referrals to particular departments should not close a report. When the item is fixed, then closed is appropriate.

Note that most of the other communities using this system Acknowledge a report, investigate/Fix, and then Close. Let's do it the same way, please.

Please bear with us as we do not have full functionality of see click fix. We are using an internal system to generate work orders so to avoid back and forth the matter is closed to verify that a work order has been generated. Thank you
