Large dead branches still hanging in this tree and many other trees on this street the town really needs to do something about this.

Sounds familiar. I've been trying to get the ToH to cut down one of their trees next to my property for the past (get this) 14 years now. They claim the tree is healthy

No they don't care which makes me wonder where my tax dollars are going. Leaf bags have been sitting out on the streets in my neighborhood since October and the town hasn't bothered to collect them. We have several large half-dead trees with the same issues as yours and they won't come and prune them. Hamden really leaves a lot to be desired and now that re elections have occurred I guess we're really screwed for another two years!

The Town of Hamden has had just a little snow to deal with and I am more than sure they are playing catch up with what is on there to do list. Just for once how about waiting till the snow stops for more than a week before you throw them under the bus on the internet.

Tom, it was reported to them in 2011 or 2012. What does the snow that has come down in the last month have to do with anything ?
