Yes, MaryAnn, that is true, thank you, i also remember the bike rack in the grassy area in front of Amici's, not sure why its gone.. But i do know that cycling in this area has picked up quite a bit, more people ride bikes now than they did when the bike rack was available, much more.. Maybe our Mayor has some input since he runs a business in the same plaza..

The owner of Village Square Plaza removed them. When I inquired years ago, through Publix manager, they contacted owner who said they would not be replaced. Thank you again MaryAnn, i will try this.. I do beleive the city should require all shopping plazas/malls to make available bicycle racks as they do make parking available for motor vehicles.

Really get no help here. Tried calling the owners of that plaza and they claim they dont own it. Pembroke Pines is so bicycle unfriendly its pathetic. I tried voicing my concerns with the mayors office and he doesnt care either. Dont understand why the racks arent required by law.
