Please attend a "coffee with a cop", And discuss your issue.

Don't make him out to be a bad person because he didn't stop...if there are calls pending, THAT takes precedence. What if you were awaiting a more important call and that officer was on his way to your home, and decided a broken down car was more important....You would complain at that as well. THINK before you post nonsense.. it just shows ignorance on your part.

Did you read the part that stated he may have had a call, but his lights were not on?

I am well aware that a call would take priority over a stalled car, however, his actions (lack of flashing lights, slow speed, and such) indicated he did not have a call.

I am also aware of the fact that had that been my loved one broke down in the rain I would be infuriated that he didn't bother to stop if he was not headed to a call.

Not long after I posted this I stopped to assist at a car accident that happened in front of me. Very shortly after the accident an ambulance pulled up and asked if anyone needed medical attention. The driver clearly stated he was headed to a call, but would have some else come if needed.

Thankfully, no one needed medical assistance, but that driver showed amazing commitment and character by slowing down to see if any help was needed.

The cop I mentioned may have also called in to someone without stopping. I am not sure. I am only sure about what I saw and how it appeared.

There are some amazing people in law enforcement, but just like any profession there are also some dirt bags.

So thank you for your opinion, but I stand by mine.
