These tracks should be removed and the pavement smoothed since the rail line is no longer active. They are a hazard to cyclists and car traffic has to suddenly slow down to travel over them without damage to vehicle

7/18/2012 Thank you so much for your communications with the City of Richmond government. SeeClickFix is setup for quick fixes and repair that can happen in a short amount of time. Consideration must take place with Richmond Engineering (Request #20020853903) about removal of RR Tracks and just having street pavement on the ground where the tracks are no longer in use. A great deal of planning and preparation must go into a project of this caliber. This is not in the same dimension as a pothole repair. Because of time that can be involved with this type of consideration, updates and follow through about this request can be obtained by calling Richmond Engineering at 646-0435 and referring to Request #20020853903 -
