Thank you for your communication with Richmond City Government online. The attached picture is showing two recycling receptacles. These new recycling receptacles have replaced the older recycling bins. Although, they are now larger only recycling discarded items are allowed to be placed in these receptacles that will be picked up on the recycling pick up day for this area. The bag of trash would need to be placed in a supercan along with household trash that is picked up on trash collection dayor if the supercan is full; the bags can be placed beside the supercan for pick up. Missed recycling collections can be reported to Central Virginia Waste Management Authority (CVWMA) at contact number at (804) 359-8413 and a missed trash collection can be reported to our customer care team at 646-7000.
