The barrels are there to protect the people who have to stand out there to stop traffic when a horse crosses. If you don't like them then take an alternate route to your destination. The horses are worth more than your stupid car so they take first priority. You should not be driving on the shoulders of the road. They are traffic safety orange so you can see them far in advance and you should not be trying to avoid stopping for the horses. If you don't like the horses crossing there then move to a different town. The barrels also show you where to stop when horse crosses so you don't scare the horses and potentially get a rider thrown to the ground. Try spending some time learning why things are done before you go blabbering that you don't like something.
