the traffic signal at the intersection of Haynes Bridge Road and Haynes Bridge Middle School timing is favoring the Middle School and side street during the afternoon rush hour which is causing a severe backup in traffic on Haynes Bridge Road.

Public Works inspected the location and has identified a malfunctioning component that will have to be replaced. That work has been scheduled.
In the meantime, our Traffic Engineers have deployed an interim signal timing schedule to better address traffic flows during the afternoon peak commute. (3:30 PM - 6:30 PM). Once the component has been replaced, the signal timing will be returned to its normal program.
