How is this click fix?

This is comical - you say nothing comes from this service? Really what did you have before? Oh that's right - nothing except maybe taking your butt down to the Police station to file a report. Speaking of which police report or no police report who are you going to file this against? What's your deductible? Good luck with your insurance company because they won't pay. Finally if you don't like the service don't use it - Go down to City Hall and tell City Council that it's a waste and you like the old way - where there was no transparency or a paper trail and it took months to get anything done.

It is certainly good to have a visible platform from which we can all post accounts of the bad and the good. Matt it certainly betas what we had in the past. Now it needs to grow.

Matt, certainly hope you were responding to the person who commented to my original post. I agree this is a good platform, I just clicked on the link posted on the police departments web site thinking it was a way to file a claim.

I'm almost positive he was. He worked very hard to bring this service to the city. I agree that it is working.

Hi Kelley - Marie is correct I was responding to the knucklehead comments made afterwards. In looking at the CPD website this does give you the impression that you can and you should. Right now there is not a category for this but can easily be done. I would reach out to the Chief jcanale@coatesville.org or Officer Rodger Ollis rollis@coatesville.org to suggestion having this updated.

Dominic - I agree that is needs to grow so please tell everyone you know about it. In the age of the smart phone that can provide an app and the ability to create issues on the fly, we should be totally utilizing this.
