good luck with that, I've been complaining about an eyesore that was burnt and ravaged by vandals and the city wouldn't do anything about it. The guy got the insurance money and walked. the new owner has done little to improve it from eyesore status and it just degrades the neighborhood.
A portion of 2014 tax are delinquent. Tag monitoring fees being added. This should push toward tax foreclosure....but not til 2017. Make safe or demolish should get it down before then.?
Eric, why would a LLC assume a burnt out property? This property transferred hands in Dec. 2015 and the new owner still has not paid taxes, nor have they done anything to this property. It is now only worth $8,500,and given how close in proximity to the river it is and it is a flood zone, I can't say it could be replaced. How soon can Make Safe or Demolish kick in?
The owner paid the 2014 taxes at the last moment. City code needs to enforce for any possibility of action prior to 3.31.18 tax foreclosure opportunity.
