Please fix immediately. You literally have to swerve in another lane to avoid busting you tire axels if you are not familiar with this part of the road.

It's now July 10, 2013, and it looks like they "patched" some of the seam on the eastbound side. But left other parts undone (esp. 2nd lane from right EB approx 1/2 mi east of I 285) , so you're still having to get jolted if you happen to be in the affected lane.
As for the westbound side ( esp. 2nd lane form right), it appears nothing has been done. I guess the DOT is taking a "wait until someone has a blowout/accident" approach (on both sides), before they address the issue.

They're (DOT) seemingly concentrating on the NORTH side (e.g., Riverside Drive) area of I 285, while the south west end egt minimal repairs. The seams are still in need of repair.

The seams (especially i20 east @ 285 near Fulton Ind Blvd) are still in need of repair.

It's September 2014, and GA DOT still chooses to ignore this section of the Interstate.

November 2014, DOT still continues wait and see approach. Entrance ramp to I285 North still torn up, the seams still jolt the hell out of your vehicle. Now, on I-20 Westbound, approx 300 yds past exit 52-a, the middle lane is starting to rip open, exposing a rather lengthy type pothole. When will it end! Need mor resposive people @ Ga DOT.

The heavens must be coming into alignment. After 2 years, the GA DOT has finally started repaired in the interchange. But I won't close this until they FINISH! 2 years! it's taken. Why does GA DOT drag their feet when it comes to road repairs on Southern end on Atlanta?
