this whole shopping plaza and the walgreens across the street need regular clean ups happening. Please clean up or put for sale sign on it so someone good will move in.

That is just disgusting. How bout Oakland putting portable potties around so the homeless can have a little dignity and the rest of us don't have to smell the unsanitary conditions. Cleaning up over, over and over again is costing this city thousands every month. Can Oakland come up with any solution to any problem in this city?

Thanks Gunnar and Simplyblu, This is a serious matter and needs to be addressed immediately. What I saw was vile to say the least. I plan on escalating but want to do "due diligence " on SCF first.

I believe it is good to document on SCF even though some one has to get code enforcement to first show up and then do there job, I am waiting for few call backs from them. The excuses are unbelievable. Bottom line the vagrants and bad property owners are out of control.

My problem has not been so much with PWD but with code enforcement. At one point tuning a ex OFD employee in for not having any permits for remolding his building and having a code enforcement official threaten to red tag my house if I did not back down. I won that one but they just do not want to work. Thank you for the directors contact info sometime you have to go the top.

I have had similar experiences with the code enforcement inspectors that is why I started to escalate.

Code enforcement is short-staffed and the process typically takes a while. They have to notice the owner and give him/her a chance to respond,
