The signals for the crosswalks are not working correctly. Timed to long so people are crossing six lanes without the light.

The traffic signals are timed to move the most traffic during the peak times of day. Pedestrians may wait longer to receive their dedicated crossing time, but it is guaranteed each cycle if the pedestrian button is pushed.
If you are not getting service at all, we will need to send a technician out to for repair of the equipment. It sounds as though that is not the issue however.
Please call the traffic control center (464-8926), if you do not receive the Walk and Flashing Don't phases after pushing the button.
