Oakland. ..get with it and clean up the homeless. Enough is enough. Make a permanent lot somewhere so they camp in it. City leaders need to wake up and quit sleeping on the job. Invite their encampments to set up in your neighborhood.

Still waiting the city to do something - 150 days on the books.

72hr notice to move and a stay away order is all it takes, besides social services offering to help, in which the homeless decline. So why the months and months of not cleaning these encampments up. Either its laziness, someone is telling city workers not to bother, or the city doesn't care. Its a health issue to all of Oakland.

180 days on the books.. they are still there, and getting bigger.. about a dozen tents

180 days, it must be a total health hazard by now. There has to be an awful stench coming from there.

7 Months!!! Nothing has been done. Caltran cleans up - but they are back the next day - getting worse, noise in the middle of the night - yelling. The picture is just 4 days after Caltran cleaned it up. They came back the next day and brought in Pallets of wood and filled trash bags.

Why aren't there stay away orders issued? Taxpayers should not have to keep paying to clean up the same problem over and over. This mayor and the advocates need to get it under control. I'd like to see them live next to these encampments and see how long before they do something.

240 days and counting - 8 months - There was suppose to be a clean up on the 19th - nobody came. Pile of trash and crap...

Wow, must be really ripe by now. Of course they will blame it on El Niño now. Whatever the excuse, it's unacceptable.

Oakland seems to be on the homeless side. The Mayor doesn't get it. She probably doesn't live near an encampment and is in denial about what goes on in these encampments. Hopefully citizens will not re-elect her. How much is being spent on cleaning up the same place over, over, over, again just to pile up an hour later. It makes no sense.

The city is in denial about these encampments. They are going to wait till something bad happens.

360 days - almost a year. First they said they are leaving the homeless there due to the harsh winter conditions... now they will not even answer when they will enforce the trespassing. So keep the ticket open... DO SOMETHING!

Keep it open - finally Caltran is enforcing the no trespassing. But city of Oakland is still allowing them to take up the sidewalk and use the enclosed space as their dumping ground. City Oakland - move the encampment farther out - where the environmental effects of feces, trash and urine does not effect the people keep you in jobs.

Public works, why has this not been addressed. R u being told not to clean up after the homeless. This is outrageous . over a year and nothing, someone is pulling strings. Get someone to clean it up if u or Cal Trans dont want to

The homeless encampment has been reduced and removed from the Caltran side of the fence. However, the homeless that do remain are blocking the side walk and still dumping there trash and feces over the fence.. they are peeing on the sidewalk or in the corner gutter. Caltran says to contact city of Oakland to move the encampment ASAP.

Yep we all know how that works. The city will take forever, then they'll go right back to cal Tran property and it'll be s cat and mouse game

630 days ---- you wonder why this isn't closed. It's because the city of Oakland cannot do anything for the people that actually pay there salaries.

Duh... there is a reason why this ticket is open for 660 days. There is still a homeless encampment, sidewalk is blocked and there is still trash all over the place. Why not clean it up and then close it.... wow that is a thought. Why not give me your address and I will make a schedule to drop off my trash and feces outside your office door.... is it a deal?

Keep Open.. This homeless encampment has been getting larger - the city does not care. Trash everywhere - cannot even walk on the sidewalk.Just a reminder - Tax payers pay your salary - why cannot you get that through your thick skulls. Hope someday a person will come into your offices and dump a mound of trash and feces on your desk.
