A rather massive "sunken" bit of road seems to be getting bigger and deeper by the day. B/c of that, cars must slow down quite a lot or swerve around it. As it's just south of a stoplight, this causes unnecessary traffic backups, but you can't blame drivers for being careful. Not sure what's happening under this "sinkhole-y" pothole, but I'd appreciate a fix. Thanks.

I don't know what the above stuff means (well, I know the words but not their intent), but the road there is still a hazard. How can it be "closed" if it's still impairing traffic?
