Signs for pesticide application note application done on '07/14. 12:00'
Was city notified of plans for pesticide use by submittal if application? Does city approve of pesticide application on city property (i.e. Greenbelt)? Were neighbors notified prior to application? Was Lund Home notified since pregnant mothers, infants, and toddlers use this sidewalk regularly to walk to and from adjacent bus stop?

The contractor from Scotts Lawn service came to the Code Enforcement Office on July 16 and met with me. I received the information about the contract with the business at Shelburne and Flynn and went over the Burlington City ordinance requiring approval from the Board of Health for application of a pesticide within the buffer zone. (500 feet from Lake Champlain and its tributaries)
The contractor agreed to attend the next Burlington Board of Health meeting on August 13, 2015 prior to any additional action being taken at the site or by the City.
