Ever try to cross 6th ave at the Rotary Trail? Why put the trail in the middle of one of the busiest streets in PA. A kind driver stopped to let me cross after I had been standing there forever as I was about to cross a car full of teenagers sped around him! Lucky I was paying attention... cause I was also pushing a stroller |:

6th Avenue is a provincial Highway , and Pedestrian have right of way at Crosswalks and Intersections
it only makes sense to paint a crosswalk there, for the protection of pedestrians

Keep your wits about you and look carefully befor you leave the curb. Pedestrians who don't do that often don't make it to the other side...
