This picture was taken today, Monday, during the downpour. As you can see the water is cascading across my property and washing out my driveway due to the clogged ditch. The matter is worsening as downpours continue,

After the rain subsided the remnants of the clogged pipe are holes and torn away asphalt. This is causing me to have to maneuver around asphalt that is no longer allowing for transition entering and exiting my driveway.

I have called several times to request an update on this issue and continue to receive the same "automated response": due to heavy call volumes all agents are busy. Please call back at another time".
I understand high call volumes and having to hold at times but this is absolutely ridiculous!

I've made several attempts obtain a status report of CRS#20020982027, I have been hung up on, received an automated message: "all agents are busy, please hold." Of course, no one ever comes on the line. This is ridiculous!

We apologize that you have been unable to speak to a customer care representative in reference to your concern. The status of this request is as follows: Found: Heavy erosion in ditch approx. 100lft, driveway culvert filled with sediment creating negative drainage during and after rain events. Solution: Replace driveway culvert (asphalt apron present), backfill and compact ditch in eroded areas. Driveway should be extended to match cobblestone. Installed erosion mat where needed. This season summer will probably be hard for grass to germinate and stablized the slope. May need to revisit this site for erosion control. Ditch may need asphalt or concrete in the future.

I do appreciate being contacted, by a representative of the City of Richmond's Public Utilities Department, to inform me of the pending action plan . I observed the Utilities personnel commencing the repairs this morning (Thursday) and it appears that considerable improvement has been made. I will monitor the area during the next predicted rain forecast.
