Community Development will assign an inspector to check the property for violations of the grass and weed ordinance. This ordinance only requires the cutting of grass or weeds over 8 inches in height and consume an abundance of the yard. We cannot require the trimming of bushes, shrubs, ornamentals, ivy or trees. I had first reported this anonymously five days ago and nothing had been done, I hope this issue will be resolved in the next few days thank you.

Community Development’s Inspector has checked this property and has issued a notice to the owner(s) / occupant(s) that they are in violation of the City's Grass and Weed Ordinance. A scheduled re-inspection of the property will be made upon the final date of the notice to insure compliance with the ordinance. Thank you for contacting us.

They finally mowed their front yard, but the backyard is still untouched, full of tall weed and grass way over the set 8" mark. Could someone please reinspect.
