About 6 weeks ago a car struck and damaged a utility pole on Oberlin Rd. near the corner with the private way called Turner's Lane. The auto strike created a gash 3 or 4 inches deep in the wood and carried part of it away. Pole is deteriorating and will someday fall. This site is near two other auto-strikes-pole incidents on Oberlin. Something's wrong with that street, or the people who drive it.
