Why are newspaper companies allowed to throw papers and of flyers onto our yards, driveways, sidewalks and roadways when all most end up in Edinburg's sewer system, thus clogging the system/drain(s)?

What's the city doing with our taxes all the streets in edinburg are riddled with potholes. The drainage is systems are inadequate.

There is no City Ordinance on the the newspaper companies to allow to throw the papers or flyers onto yard, but this is something that we can start looking into through our Stromwater Ordinance. As for the Drainage within your subdivision we were able to check the area and found that the large outfall canal in the area was full which caused the delay storm water to recede, the reason for the delay it was a large amount of rainfall within a short period of time.
