This area has been reported many times. There is also a homeless encampment on either
side of this freeway underpass that is covered in graffiti and litter.

When I inquired with the Public Works about the freeway underpasses, on 55th street they told me that they have been forwarding these requests to BART and CALTRANS. It was my understanding after speaking to a representative from BART and CALTRANS that these areas are under the
jurisdiction of the City of Oakland. This area really needs to be cleaned up. Thanks so much!
