When traveling north on the 35 frontage road, the light at 79 is always so congested. Only having one lane go straight inevitably leads to waiting through 3 or more red lights to cross 79. Contributing to this waiting are those who get in the left turn lane and jump over into the straight lane, causing us to brake. There should be two lanes going straight, whether the current stripped off space is turned into a usable lane or the left turn lane serves dual purpose.
