Description

I have been going to the YMCA for over 10 years and there have been many accidents and potential accidents at this corner. I saw today that there is a crossing light (blinking) being installed but more is needed here. A traffic light for cars and pedestrians should be installed to protect human lives. I actually saw a man crossing from the YMCA corner get hit by a speeding car heading north from downtown. It was terrible. I think the driver didn't stop. The staff from the YMCA came out to help the injured man. When I have to cross Broadway either on foot or in my car it is always dangerous --the cars go by so fast on Broadway.
Please put in a stop light here to slow the traffic down or place a traffic officer to give tickets to speeders--this may deter speeders, too.
Thank you for your time and help.
Mio Good
